Formula Student –  is an international engineering design competition where teams representing several universities are challenged to design, fabricate, develop, and compete with a formula type race car.

The team is funded by Metropolia UAS in addition to several sponsors who provide us with funding, materials, services or training.

The project is 100% run by students of Metropolia UAS and other universities in the Helsinki area. The team consists of members from different fields, all working in an international setting as part of several subsystems: Chassis & Composites, Suspension and Steering, Aerodynamics, Brakes, Drivetrain and Cooling, Electrics, Electronics and Programming, Driverless & Simulations, Media & Marketing.
